Citriodora Essential oil is a well-known insect repellent. The essential oil of Citriodora is widely used in the formulation of floor cleaners. The essential oil of Citriodora is derived through the process of steam distillation from the twigs and leaves of Lemon eucalyptus or Citriodora (commonly known as the lemon scented gum tree). It is an evergreen tree grows up to the height of 25 to 40 meters, sometimes reaching 50 meters (165 ft) when growing wild. It is a native to Melbourne Australia and belongs to the Myrtaceae family.
